Mr. James Phelan is an attorney and professional engineer with experience in finance, law, and engineering at start-ups and corporations. Prior to joining Verdox, he was responsible for FP&A for the Reinforcement Materials business at Cabot Corporation, where he drafted strategic supply agreements and implemented pricing strategies to de-risk market uncertainty.

He also led strategic projects at Joule and managed capital projects, optimized plant operations, and engineered environmental controls at ExxonMobil. He holds a BS in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a JD from Loyola Law School.
