Dr. Friedrich (Fred) von Gottberg is an experienced business leader and has a 25+ year record of successfully leading business and technical teams in the specialty chemicals/materials science industry including early-stage new specialty ventures or larger more established commodity businesses.

Previously, Dr. von Gottberg was President and CEO of Voxel8 an additive manufacturing company which was acquired by Kornit Digital. Prior to that he spent 20+ years at Cabot Corporation, where he held various roles including VP of Research & Development, VP New Business Segment and President of Purifications Solutions.   Dr. von Gottberg is a chemical engineer by training, having obtained his PhD and Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his bachelor’s degree from University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
